Customer development
Originated the idea after years working with builders — his brother is one. Runs the customer calls weekly so we don't drift from what builders actually need.
About · 2026
ConstructionIntel started after Jamie kept hearing the same story from every builder he spoke to: nobody knows whether their last invoice was fair, and nobody has time to work it out. We’re three founders building the tool those builders said they wanted.

Product & data
Previously built a 70,000-watch trading platform that does this exact thing — WhatsApp ingest, regional confidence-scored pricing, line-item canonicalisation — for the watch trade. Now bringing it to building materials.

Growth & onboarding
Property background. Owns the Chrome extension that pulls invoices straight from your inbox the moment they land — so you never have to forward anything once you're set up. Also runs the bootstrap distribution into the trade.
Principles
We surface the builder's own data. Not generic national averages that don't reflect any actual quote anyone has ever received.
Every estimate ships with error bars and a confidence score. We don't quote prices we can't back with data.
Anything sent to a merchant goes from your inbox, with your name on it. The relationships that earned you good prices stay intact — we're invisible to your account.
v0 is us, manually, for a few builders. v1 is the email-ingest tracker. v2 is the dashboard. We'll automate when we know what's worth automating.
Get involved
We’re onboarding a handful of builders for v0. No spam, no auto-pitches — a real conversation.
