Built for real merchant paperwork, not generic accounting.
Useful when Travis, Jewson, MKM, Howdens, Bradfords or another merchant invoices a different number from the quote you agreed.
Best when you have both the quote and the invoice.
Works with PDF invoices and clear photos.

Guidance note
Quote vs invoice comparison method
Reviewed by ConstructionIntel on 14 June 2026.
A quote-vs-invoice check compares the agreed quote with the supplier invoice line by line. The useful checks are item description, quantity, unit, unit price, discount, delivery charge, VAT basis and substitutions. A difference is not automatically an overcharge: the next step is to identify what changed and ask the supplier a specific paperwork question.
Match quote and invoice rows by item description, product code, quantity and unit before comparing totals.
Separate price movement, quantity movement, substituted products and delivery or small-order charges.
Check whether VAT basis changed between quote and invoice before treating the gross total as the issue.
Turn the result into a calm supplier question with the quote and invoice references attached.
