Credit status
Overdue enough to chase.
Bradfords promised this 25 days ago.
Hi account manager, quick check on the credit note for Returned damaged plasterboard and delivery charge correction. I had GBP 186.00 noted from 2026-05-20. Could you confirm whether it has been raised and which statement it will show on?
What it is for
Built for real merchant paperwork, not generic accounting.
Use it for damaged goods, returned materials, incorrect delivery charges, price corrections and credits promised by a branch or account manager.
Captures supplier, amount, promise date and reason.
Turns vague credit promises into a simple follow-up record.
Keeps supplier contact in your hands; we never email the rep.

Missing credit note status rules
Reviewed by ConstructionIntel on 14 June 2026.
A missing credit note tracker turns a supplier promise into a dated follow-up record. Useful statuses are promised, due, overdue and resolved. A missing credit note is not proof of overcharging by itself: the evidence is the original invoice, the reason for the credit, who promised it, the promise date and whether the credit has appeared on the supplier statement.
Record the supplier, invoice reference, expected credit amount, reason and promise date.
Treat a credit as due when the promised date has arrived and no credit note is visible.
Treat it as overdue only after checking the supplier statement and recent account documents.
Chase with the original invoice reference and promise details, keeping the wording factual.
What happens next
If it looks odd, send the invoice.
You get an ageing status and rep-safe wording to chase the credit without burning the relationship.
